Michele has a Master of Theological Studies in Pastoral Counselling (MTS) from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an Honours Degree in Sociology (BA) from McMaster University. She is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT) (Clinical Member) with the Ontario and American Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy (OAMFT/AAMFT). Michele is in the process of becoming an Approved Supervisor with the OAMFT/AAMFT. She welcomes inquiries from therapists-in-training who require supervision for their clinical work.

Michele has an Addiction Studies Diploma, is trained in Prepare & Enrich Relationship Inventories, and has completed Level 1 & 2 EMDR training (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Michele is committed to ongoing education, regularly participating in training and workshops.
